Lesa Francis has discovered her niche in successfully submitting grant applications to municipal, provincial and federal government funders on behalf of non-profit organizations, artists and small business owners. Lesa has been very involved in event planning and community developing in the non-profit sector. She formerly served on the Board of Directors for the African Canadian Heritage Association, Co-Director for the African Canadian Children's Literary Festival, and Secretary/Treasurer for the Committee to Commemorate and Memorialize the Abolition of the Slave Trades 1807-2007.
